APORT complements measures to reinforce passenger safety at Diego Aracena Airport during a health emergency






Since March, APORT has carried out a work of coordination with regional authorities, mining and transport companies, to avoid the simultaneous arrival of passengers, has supported the operation of the sanitary customs and reinforced the sanitation of the terminal's public spaces.

Now, the concessionaire has implemented a series of new measures, such as the rearrangement of the departure lounge and the organization of sanitary customs areas to ensure an orderly and safe process and that passengers maintain the minimum distance recommended by health authorities. .

The seats have been arranged in such a way that people are not face to face with other users and can keep their distance. In addition, acrylic dividers and tables were installed to maintain distance in a practical way in the multi-seat seats, maintaining a sufficient offer of seats and giving flexibility and functionality to passengers to sit individually, or in pairs, safely.

Likewise, portable sinks were installed in public areas (in addition to those in the bathrooms); Totems with graphics that invite to implement hygiene measures with alcohol gel dispensers and sanitizing mats at all entrances to the terminal building.

Similarly, acrylic barriers were installed in the counters and service desks, to protect from contact between users and officials of the different services present at the airport.
